About the Role

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Schedule

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of each order
• Check-in orders
• Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
• Maintain a clean working environment and equipment needed to ship orders timely
• Follow safety requirements for the position
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Complete shipping reports

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pick/packing
• Experience with UPS and FedEx software

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00. The actual base pay offered depends on factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
