Order Management Specialist

Overview

Kadant Johnson is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused Order Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain group.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive customer experience from order entry through order fulfillment
• Build strong internal and external customer relationships
• Ensure customer requirements are handled accurately, promptly, and in a compliant, efficient manner
• Work closely with Sales, Inside Sales, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Accounting

Qualifications

• Demonstrate professionalism with a strong focus on timeliness, accuracy, and customer service
• Review and enter customer purchase orders
• Respond to customer account maintenance needs, questions, requests, and concerns by email and telephone
• Expeditious orders to support a positive customer experience
• Hold an Associate’s degree and prior experience in customer service, order entry, or another customer-facing role in a manufacturing environment
• Possess strong critical thinking skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Show strong commercial aptitude, clear communication, and professional interpersonal skills

Reports To

The successful candidate will report through the Director of Supply Chain.
