About the role
Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift position offering the opportunity to learn every job in the building, add new skillsets, and advance as Blend Supply expands and opens additional facilities. Blend Supply is a full-service distributor of coatings, tools, and refinish supplies with deep industry expertise serving the aerospace, industrial, marine, and military markets. Our team provides customer service and on-site technical assistance, with next-day shipping options available for most of the country from multiple U.S. distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Pick, package, and ship all orders according to Blend Supply standards.
- Receive all incoming shipments.
- Perform daily cycle counts of stock.
- Mix paint batches based on manufacturer standards and formulas.
- Follow AS9100d guidelines and all federal regulations.
- Ensure safety, productivity, and quality in all distribution operations.
- Maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
- Work with leads, managers, and quality assurance to prioritize objectives.
- Ensure work aligns with Blend Supply policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
- Experience in industry distribution.
- ERP experience and knowledge preferred.
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to see and perceive color, including matching coating samples.
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
- Positive, productive, and motivating attitude.
- Knowledge of ISO standards preferred.
- Knowledge of CFR 49 preferred.
Work Environment
- Intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering materials or equipment (some heavy or awkward).
- Regular exposure to dust, fumes, or odors causing moderate physical discomfort.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
