We are seeking an inspiring, innovative orchestra teacher to join our 6–12 music team and continue the legacy of excellence that makes Norwich music second to none. Whether it’s teaching lessons, leading rehearsals, or preparing soloists for college auditions, it’s more than a job—it’s a calling.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, inclusive, and responsive learning experiences for 6–12 orchestra students.
- Collaborate with the K–12 music team to plan and execute a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
- Use data and professional feedback to drive instruction and strengthen student outcomes.
- Build relationships with students and families rooted in trust, respect, and high expectations.
- Champion a classroom culture where effort, curiosity, kindness, and belonging thrive.
- Contribute to a school community where teachers support teachers—because we rise together.
Requirements
- New York State Certification in Music Education.
