About the role
We are seeking an inspiring, innovative orchestra teacher to join our 6-12 music team and continue the legacy of excellence that makes Norwich music second to none.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, inclusive, and responsive learning experiences for 6-12 orchestra students.
- Collaborate with k-12 music team to plan and execute a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
- Use data and professional feedback to drive your instruction and strengthen student outcomes.
- Build relationships with students and families rooted in trust, respect, and high expectations.
- Champion a classroom culture where effort, curiosity, kindness, and belonging thrive.
- Contribute to a school community where teachers support teachers – because we rise together.
Requirements
- NYS Music Teaching Certificate
