Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in OMS
• A valid dental license with DEA registration in the relevant jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Perform complex extractions, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgical procedures with a high standard of care
• Diagnose and treat oral and maxillofacial conditions
• Provide sedation and anesthesia per state regulations
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care to ensure optimal outcomes and smooth recovery
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with general dentists and specialists
• Collaborate with referring doctors and team members to enhance interdisciplinary care and the patient experience
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations
• Stay current with advancements in oral surgery through continuing education and professional development
