Oracle HCM Payroll Lead

About the role

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll solutions. This includes working closely with client teams to gather and synthesize requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to configure and optimize payroll processes, creating design documents, facilitating design workshops, and managing testing cycles.

Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize functional and technical requirements from client teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure and optimize upstream and downstream payroll processes within Oracle HCM.
• Create functional and technical design documents.
• Facilitate design workshops for End-to-End Payroll Processing with business stakeholders.
• Support the planning and execution of testing cycles, and perform cutover activities as required for go-live preparation.
• Plan and organize tasks and report progress on the track/deliverables.

Requirements

• Must be certified in Cloud HCM applications and Payroll module.
• At least 7 years of experience in Oracle Payroll Cloud.
• At least 2 full life-cycle Oracle Payroll Cloud implementations.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years of work experience) or an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience.
• Experience with Oracle financials including Chart of Accounts / General Ledger.
• Bonus points for Oracle HCM Payroll Certification.
• Experience managing a team and delivering projects.
• Strong cross-functional exposure to other HCM modules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years of work experience) or an Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience.
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in Oracle Payroll Cloud.
• Must have at least 2 full life-cycle Oracle Payroll Cloud implementations.

• Must have experience with Oracle HCM Payroll Certification.
