Oracle EPM Application Analyst I, II, III, or Senior

About the role

A technical / functional resource for Oracle EPM, this role involves independently coordinating efforts across EPM modules to ensure high quality outcomes and optimizing the user experience. Responsibilities include customer support, process streamlining, automation deployment, and maintaining systems to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Track, diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot, resolve incidents and cases related to Oracle EPM applications.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, dashboards, web forms, task lists, and navigation flows within Oracle EPM applications.
  • Create and maintain reports, including Oracle EPM Management Reports.
  • Develop and maintain integration capabilities between Oracle EPM and other systems.
  • Support other software developers by providing guidance and assistance.
  • Maintain and monitor scheduled Oracle EPM enhancements and monthly upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Oracle EPM tools and processes.

Requirements

Eight + (8) years of progressive Oracle EPM applications support experience. Senior level Oracle analyst experience with EPM, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, accounting and project control experience, familiarity with ASO/BSO cube design, metadata management, data integrations, SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, Smart View development, Financial/Narrative reporting development, and Management Reporting in EPM are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • CPA / Financial Background (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, with the ability to explain complex issues in clear, concise, persuasive language.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency.
  • Prioritization and execution under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Skills

  • Software development methodologies.
  • SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT.
  • Smart View development, Financial/Narrative reporting development, and Management Reporting in EPM.
