Oracle EBS Financials Functional Lead (AGIS / Intercompany Accounting)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Financials Functional Lead with deep expertise in Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) and a strong accounting background. This role will lead the redesign and optimization of intercompany accounting processes across Oracle EBS Financials, focusing on GL, AP, AR, Subledger Accounting, and AGIS. The ideal candidate will drive the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle EBS AGIS and intercompany accounting transformation initiatives.
• Conduct workshops with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Design and configure AGIS transaction types, trading partner relationships, approval workflows, and accounting rules.
• Implement intercompany invoicing, due-to/due-from accounting, balancing, and reconciliation processes.
• Support Chart of Accounts (COA) redesign, account mappings, balancing rules, and security configurations.
• Design and support integrations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Troubleshoot AGIS transaction issues, accounting exceptions, and invoice generation failures.
• Lead SIT, UAT, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Develop reconciliation procedures between AGIS, AP, AR, SLA, and General Ledger.
• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, conversions, reports, and customizations.
• Support month-end and period-end close activities involving intercompany transactions.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
• Deep functional expertise in Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS).
• Strong knowledge of:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Intercompany Accounting & Invoicing
  • Multi-Ledger & Multi-Entity Accounting
  • Chart of Accounts Design & Restructuring
  • Financial Close & Reconciliation Processes
• Strong accounting foundation including journal entries, debits/credits, due-to/due-from accounting, and eliminations.
• Experience leading requirements workshops, solution design, testing, and production deployments.
• Ability to work directly with Finance and Accounting leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Large-scale AGIS implementation or intercompany transformation experience.
• Global Chart of Accounts redesign experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS APIs, Open Interfaces, and Web ADI.
• Experience with consolidation, eliminations, and intercompany reconciliations.
• CPA, Accounting Degree, or equivalent finance/accounting experience preferred.
