About the Role
- Design and implement database schemas and structures.
- Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Proactively monitor database health, optimize SQL code, and address performance bottlenecks.
- Implement security measures, set up user permissions, and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries, stored procedures, and database design for applications.
- Plan for storage requirements and database growth, and scale infrastructure as needed.
What You'll Need
- Active DOD TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least eight years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of demonstrated experience as a database administrator.
- At least five years of Oracle Database Administration experience (Oracle 12c, 19c, or later).
- In-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security, and conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
- Experience with procedural languages such as PL/SQL and proficiency in PL/SQL development and optimization.
