About the role

As an Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Lead Consultant at IBM Consulting, you’ll be a key member of the Delivery Practice, engaging in both project delivery and business development. This role involves working with leading companies across industries to shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys, leveraging IBM technology, Red Hat, and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Delivery:
    • Serve as the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Lead across the full project lifecycle, including planning, configuration, design, build, testing, training, go-live, and post-production support.
    • Collaborate with client teams to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions and designs.
    • Develop and implement best practices for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials solutions (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Expenses, Cash Management, Fixed Assets).
    • Design and build reports to support implementations.
  • Pre-sales/Sales:
    • Facilitate initial discovery calls to assess and map customer needs to Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities.
    • Support the development of proposals and Statements of Work.
    • Conduct demos of Oracle Cloud Financials for prospective customers.
    • Stay current with service offerings, Oracle products, and industry trends through conferences, webinars, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Solution Architecture:
    • Work with the Delivery Director and Sales Team to design and propose realistic, implementable solutions that align client requirements with software capabilities and future directions.
    • Stay updated on current releases, features, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
    • Act as a senior client-facing advisor on designs and best practices.
    • Perform hands-on delivery of workshops, configuration, and other project tasks as needed.

This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree from an accredited institution (concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience as a delivery consultant, with at least 3 years as a delivery Lead.
  • Demonstrable experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting requirements and practices.
  • Experience with reporting tools (FRS, Smartview, OTBI).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
