Oracle CC&B Functional Consultant

Location: Remote • Duration: 6 months

About the role

Strong understanding of Oracle Utility Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) with experience in v2.7.0.3 and v25.4. Functional expertise in billing, customer care, credit & collections, field work, financials, payments, rates, asset management, and related processes for gas, electricity, and non-utility services.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure Oracle CC&B applications to meet client-specific utility billing requirements.
• Prepare functional and technical design documents as needed.
• Prepare application and business process flows.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and understand business and technical requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing.
• Create, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle CC&B applications.
• Configure new CIS divisions and associated dependencies.
• Integrate third-party systems, including bill print extracts and energy-efficiency program vendors.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience with Oracle CC&B.
• Strong knowledge of Billing (gas, electricity, non-utility, whole billing), Bill & Letter Composition, Customer Care processes, Credit & Collections, Field Work, Financials, Gas Transport, Meter Reading, Payments, Rates, and Asset Management (meters).
• Experience with Sync Requests, Batch Jobs, MDM interval/trend functionality, FA/SA creation, and Collections Templates and Processes.
