NIRA, Inc., a rapidly expanding woman-owned small business, is seeking an Oracle ADF/Java Developer to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Be part of a mission that advances technology and ensures the safety and efficiency of US aviation.
About the role
You will work closely with government project managers and engineers to design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle ADF and Java/J2EE technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle ADF and Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop reusable components, business services, task flows, and user interfaces using Oracle ADF.
- Perform code analysis, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of Oracle ADF applications.
- Develop SOAP and REST web services.
- Design and implement integrations using Oracle Consulting's Project Integration Framework (PIF); configure and customize PIF components based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across distributed applications.
- Use Splunk for monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
- Work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or a Permanent Resident; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant field.
- Either a Master's degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree + 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle ADF and Java/J2EE.
- Strong experience with Oracle SOA Suite and enterprise integrations.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience implementing and supporting Oracle Consulting's Project Integration Framework (PIF).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with federal government (desired).
- Oracle Certified Professional (Java) (preferred).
- Oracle ADF Developer or Oracle SOA suite certifications (preferred).
Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring a flexible schedule, with the expectation of working one to two days per week on-site in the Washington, DC office.
