Oracle Application Developer

About the role

Design, code, test applications; understand business requirements and deliver according to project timelines. Interact with business stakeholders and analyze requirements. Manage applications and provide Level 3 support. Support deployments and application releases.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement business requirements
• Develop and maintain Oracle Applications
• Collaborate with technical product owners
• Manage Oracle Financials in a corporate environment
• Support Oracle BIP and OBIEE implementations
• Work with Unix Shell scripting
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Provide technical documentation and training
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance
• Work with batch processing tools like Autosys

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in system analysis, software design and development
• 8+ years in Oracle Applications Development
• Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata database and ETL processes development experience
• 5+ years working experience in Oracle Financials in a corporate environment
• Strong Accounting and Financial background knowledge
• Proven abilities to prioritize technology initiatives and technical debt remediation
• Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets
• Experience in Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud Fusion, BIP
• Hands-on experience in implementing or supporting Oracle BIP and OBIEE
• Prior experience with ETL, large relational databases
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, Query Tuning and Optimization

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
