OR Tech III

About the Role

The OR Tech III collaborates with perioperative nurses to organize and provide age-specific patient care, ensuring safe surgical environments and optimal physiologic responses throughout the perioperative division.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, trauma, and plastic cases.
• Maintain sterile techniques and prepare operating rooms for surgeries.
• Support team members to facilitate safe patient outcomes and efficient surgical workflows.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients when necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
• 2-3 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and skills for scrubbing various service lines.
