OR Tech III

About the Role

The OR Tech III collaborates with perioperative nurses to provide specialized, age-appropriate patient care during surgeries, ensuring safe outcomes and proper physiological responses. They organize and assist in the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgical procedures across various service lines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in diverse specialties including robotics, neurovascular, vascular, thoracic, orthopedics, and trauma.
• Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Support patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Certification as a Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) and current BLS certification.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and skills in scrub techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
