OR Tech III

About the role

The OR Tech III collaborates with perioperative nurses to organize and deliver age-appropriate patient care in the operating room, ensuring safe outcomes and proper physiologic responses during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma cases.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative activities.
• Coordinate with team members to support efficient surgical workflows and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in surgical tech roles.
• Proficiency in scrubbing for diverse surgical procedures, including complex cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and multitask.

Certifications & Licenses

• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) required.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association.

Schedule

Work on the night shift in a full-time capacity.
