Responsibilities

• Perform patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties, and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technical School.
• One (1) year of ORT job experience in a major operating room.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting per NRS 449.24185.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit/department.
