OR Technician / Certified OR Technician

Contributes to safe, effective patient care in a Level I Trauma Hospital by performing surgical assisting duties under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Handle instruments and supplies
• Assist with patient positioning and draping
• Care of specimens
• Operate surgical equipment
• Support surgical procedures across specialties: Vascular, Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology Oncology, and more
• Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile techniques
• Manage supplies and instruments
• Assist with urgent procedures
• Collaborate with the sterile team
• Perform on-call duties and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Surgical Tech program
• Certification in Surgical Technology
• CPR/BLS certification
• Physical ability to perform heavy work
• Experience preferred but not mandatory
• Bilingual skills are a plus
