Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, your skill, dedication, and impact help drive the success of every surgery. You'll prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations while collaborating with a highly skilled team that values each member's expertise.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
- Aiding with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
- Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team's needs
- Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
- Holding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Must have 1+ years of OR Tech experience
- Tech II - In addition to meeting the requirements of an OR Tech I position, must also be competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine and Vascular Surgery.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or client required upon hire

Salary Range for Tech 2
$25-35 (17 years of experience to be considered for Max)
Shift Differentials
$3 for Nights and $3 Weekends.
On Call Pay
