OR Endoscopy Support Assistant, Surgical Services

About the role

Responsibilities

• Pick cases and pull supplies for operating rooms and endoscopy rooms.
• Ensure preference cards and picklists are updated and supplies and equipment are available for surgical/endoscopy procedures.
• Facilitate daily operations of the operating room and Endoscopy Suites by performing patient transports, staging, and room turnover activities.
• Maintain the tidiness of the departments by performing general housekeeping tasks such as damp dusting, rotating supplies, and organizing equipment and furniture.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• OR 1 year of Central Sterile Technician or Central Services experience preferred.
• Computer skills such as EMR, Word, Excel, and Lawson preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Pay

Competitive salary range: $21.58 - $31.91 per hour.

Schedule

Variable pay schedule with options for shift differentials and premiums.
