Optometrist - Medically Focused (Part-time)

About the role

Clarkson Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist to practice at their Breese, Illinois office. The position is part-time, working Mondays, every other Wednesday, and every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
• Collaborate with the doctor-led leadership team to address medical issues and participate in the Medical Executive Board.
• Utilize investments in new equipment and infrastructure to apply expertise and maintain clinical autonomy.
• Access to a national medical network for referrals and a wealth of expertise, resources, and knowledge.
• Work within an established network for a sustained referral base.
• Benefit from a custom and proprietary Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for patients.

Requirements

• Current Illinois State License
• Active DEA and NPI Numbers
• Completion of an ABO optometry residency program
• Experience in clinical practice

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school
• Passing scores on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
