About the role
A Part-Time Optometrist (OD) is needed to provide comprehensive eye care at an outpatient clinic serving senior populations. This clinic-based role offers schedule flexibility, working 1-2 days per month with no nights or weekends, and includes administrative and logistical support to focus solely on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions within scope of practice
- Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend treatments
- Collaborate with a team of clinic staff in a coordinated, patient-centered environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Oklahoma optometry license
- Experience working with senior patients preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfort practicing in outpatient settings
