About the role
An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses
- Perform routine eye care services such as refractions and contact lens fittings
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with the practice team
- Adhere to the scope of practice agreed upon with the Subleasing Doctor
Requirements
- Current license to practice optometry in Kentucky
- Completion of an accredited optometry program
- At least one year of post-graduate experience in optometry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry
- Completion of an accredited optometry program
- Board certification in Optometry
- Experience in independent practice preferred
