About the role

Eyecarecenter is seeking an Optometrist to join their team in the Raleigh Crabtree, NC office. The Wilson office offers flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, without weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
• Participate in a doctor-led leadership team involved in all medical issues and the oversight of the Medical Executive Board.
• Utilize investments in new equipment and infrastructure to apply expertise and maintain clinical autonomy.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice optometry.
• Experience in primary eye care and ocular disease management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO).
• Completion of an AOA accredited residency program preferred.

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
