About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate of a Subleasing Doctor, Practice Benefits Include:

• Full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor (no company imposed restrictions or quotas to meet)
• Flexible scheduling available including part-time commitments or the option to add work to an existing practice schedule

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an Associate Optometrist will include:

• Care for patients within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist
• Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients
• Work within the terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing doctor

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Be an Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica)
• Have a full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor
• Have professional autonomy to care for patients
• Have flexible scheduling available including part-time commitments or the option to add work to an existing practice schedule
• Have access to a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment
• Have some offices offering use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support
• Have an automated on-line appointment book and patient recall system

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Have a valid medical license
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Independent Doctor of Optometry
• Have a strong understanding of optometric practices and procedures
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a passion for providing quality eye care services
