About the role
At Cockrell Eyecare Center, our mission is to Save Eyes & Spark Joy, and we're looking for a friendly, motivated Optician 2 to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Help patients choose frames and lenses that fit their needs and style
- Build connections with patients
- Provide exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations
- Perform eyewear adjustments and minor repairs
- Maintain optical inventory and displays
- Work closely with doctors and team members to support patient care
- Cross-train in other departments for career growth
Requirements
- 3+ years of optical experience is required (customer service or sales experience preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Professional, friendly and dependable

Pay

- Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00PM staggered shifts
