Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Use optical expertise and product knowledge to meet customer needs, ensuring personalized interactions.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with sales, promotions, and company policies.
- Process Payments and Refunds: Utilize the Point of Sale system for transactions.
- Educate Patients: Inform customers about eyeglass care and insurance claims.
- Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all eyewear options and features.
- Create and Manage Patient Files: Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.
- Interpret Prescription Requirements: Understand and interpret prescription details accurately.
- Take Measurements and Inspect Products: Accurately measure and inspect eyewear for quality.
- Adjust and Repair Frames: Provide necessary adjustments and repairs to frames.
- Price and Stock Merchandise: Maintain organized inventory and pricing systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Optical Industry Experience (optional)
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
