Ops Training Specialist
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver and sustain training initiatives and programs that drive retention, employee engagement and business performance.
- Use a variety of mediums: hands on training, classroom, on the job, e-learning, and virtual.
- Includes development of documentation and materials to support learning, as well as coaching others.
- Support talent pipeline and leadership development programs with a commitment to inclusion.
- Cook up and track training plans for associates to include safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Train and develop training team leads and line trainers.
- Provide onboarding support to new leaders and support functions.
- Collaborate with leaders in the creation and reporting of metrics that show business impact.
- Partner with leaders and support functions to deliver solutions for business problems and strategic impacts.
- Actively participate in the appropriate level of the tiered management system as a business partner, using the preferred problem solving tools and methodologies.
- Coach and train others across the operation that are involved in hands-on training, orientation and onboarding.
Qualifications And Skill Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with lean, safety and quality manufacturing concepts, processes and workforce training methods.
- Associates degree (or equivalent education and/or experience) in manufacturing, training, lean, continuous improvement, industrial safety, HR, or instructional design.
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing, logistics or industrial experience, including 2 with training or coaching responsibilities.
- Commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Understanding of adult learning, on the job training, and instructional design techniques.
- A customer-centric approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills - specifically verbal communications.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
