About the role
As Opleidingsmanager at Podiumberoepen and Podium- en Evenemententechniek (PET), you will guide training that prepares students for careers in the performing arts, event industry, and technology. You will lead a team of educators, instructors, and support staff to develop high-quality, relevant, and future-oriented educational programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure students maximize their potential. Lead a team of education professionals and work on high-quality, current, and future-oriented educational programs.
- Manage two unique learning environments within Deltion: OnStage (PB) for actors, musicians, and musical performers, and BackStage (PET) for stage and event technology.
- Work closely with cultural institutions, theaters, event organizers, and other industry partners.
- Represent the programs and contribute to Deltion-wide developments and projects.
- Be an ambassador for the programs and help strengthen relationships with theaters, stages, cultural institutions, production companies, and other industry partners.
- Participate in the management team of College Design, Media and ICT and collaborate with colleagues to ensure long-term educational development.
Requirements
- A relevant HBO or HBO degree.
- Experience leading professional teams.
- Knowledge and affinity with MBO education.
- An understanding of the dynamics of the creative, cultural, or technical sectors and the ability to translate developments into education.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A connector who easily collaborates with colleagues, students, and external partners.
- An enthusiasm for talent development, educational innovation, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in the performing arts, event industry, or related fields.
- Understanding of the MBO education system.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support teachers, instructors, and support staff.
- Knowledge of and interest in the dynamics of the creative, cultural, or technical sectors.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.

Benefits
- Bruto monthly salary between € 4.817 - € 7.600 (depending on scale 12 - 13).
- Full-time employment with the option for extension.
- 8% annual leave allowance.
- End-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

Schedule
- 40-hour work week.
