About the role
Aniz, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit that promotes emotional and physical wellness by providing mental health and substance use counseling, support services, and sexual health education. We are recruiting a VISTA member to assist in the key agency capacity building area of volunteer recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and assist with program development to address the opioid epidemic in Atlanta.
- Ensure that vulnerable populations continue to receive quality services.
- Develop and train new outreach volunteers on cultural competency when dealing with individuals suffering from SUD.
- Organize outreach efforts including packing up emergency supplies, assisting with development of supply packages.
