About the role
The MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking Ophthalmologists to join their team. The qualified candidates will join an established academic faculty practice and will be involved in resident students training. Clinical facilities include technical support staff and state of the art clinical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Join an established academic faculty practice and supervise residents in both outpatient and surgical settings.
- The eye clinic at MetroHealth Medical Center serves also as a major training site for the Cole Eye Institute Ophthalmology Residents.
- Work in an academic, community integrated medical system that is leading the way to a healthier community through service, teaching, discovery, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must have completed residency training in ophthalmology.
- Additional training in Neuro Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, or Cornea is preferred for some positions.
- Oculoplastic specialist with subspecialty training in Oculoplastic is also considered.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in ophthalmology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Ability to teach and mentor residents.
- Experience with state-of-the-art clinical equipment.

Pay
