Ophthalmologist - Medical or Surgical Retina Specialist

About the role

Join SightMD, a physician-led ophthalmology practice dedicated to exceptional patient care, mentorship, and innovation. This position offers the opportunity to join an established practice in Reading, Pottsville, Shamokin, and Lewisburg, PA, following the retirement of a long-standing physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive retinal care to patients in a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to strategic initiatives
• Enjoy clinical independence while benefiting from full technician and scribe support

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Ophthalmology
• Subspecialty certification in Retina preferred
• Experience in retinal surgery is a plus

Pay

$300,000 - $450,000 base compensation with performance bonuses
