Responsibilities Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and verify patient identityPerform a variety of ophthalmic tests, including:Visual Fields (VF)Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)A-Scan/IOL MasterB-ScanFundus and optic nerve photographyCorneal Topography (CT)Endothelial Cell Count (ECC)Dry Eye TestingAuto RefractionTonometryLensometryEnsure testing is accurate and upload results for physician reviewInstill prescribed eye drops for dilation, anesthesia, or treatmentOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot ophthalmic diagnostic equipmentPrepare and stock exam rooms while maintaining infection control standardsAssist with patient messages, urgent concerns, and clinic workflowEducate and support patients throughout their visitCollaborate with physicians and the clinical team to deliver outstanding patient careTravel between clinic locations as neededWhat You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalentExperience using an EMR/EHR system (NextGen preferred)Previous medical or customer service experience is preferred but not requiredKnowledge of ophthalmic medications is a plusExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periodsOccasionally lift up to 25 poundsPerform tasks requiring close attention to detail and visual accuracy About Us Spectrum Vision Partners supports one of the nation's largest ophthalmology networks, with nearly 1,400 employees, 50+ clinic locations, 5 ambulatory surgery centers, and 110+ physicians and surgeons.
