Responsibilities
- Open and close exam lanes and ensure all supplies are stocked
- Communicate patient flow with the team to keep schedules running on time
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and waiting area for patients
- Take patients' medical histories, perform workups, and perform ophthalmic diagnostic exams to obtain the information needed for diagnosis
- Help instruct the patient in the care and treatment of eye conditions
- Ensure all medical records are accurate and complete
- Triage phone calls from patients and outside contacts
- Maintain flexibility and perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
- Flexibility to effectively work alone or in a team
- Demonstrated multitasking and adaptability
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Drive for exemplary customer service
- Enjoy working with the elderly population
- Maintain and follow HIPAA procedures and policies
