Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
- Conduct other diagnostic tests such as: Visual Aids, OCT, Corneal topography, etc...
- Provide phone support for prescription refill requests as authorized by the physician.
- Educate patients on medication administration and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the physician.
- Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- One-year experience in a customer-facing position preferred.
- Medical-related experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proficient in using the internet.
Education Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
