About the role
The Operational Excellence Training Lead is a key department position that contributes to the achievement of the company's objectives by making sure that employees get the right training to succeed, helping the company grow through learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Supports company initiatives and EPIC values in the areas of safety, employee engagement, employee retention, and continuous improvement.
- Planner, creator, and deployer of training programs to help employees develop the knowledge and skills they need for their jobs.
- Works closely with different teams and leaders to determine what training is needed, design relevant programs, schedule and organize training sessions, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Performs minor content updates and collaborates with the Instructional Designer/Developer for more extensive revisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs, including adult learning principles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of eLearning platforms and tools.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
