Operator Technician

Responsibilities

• Learning and assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining gas distribution systems.
• Corrosion control, leak investigations, and meter installations.
• Operating tools and equipment, and assisting crews in construction and maintenance.
• Responding to customer service needs under supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Possession of a valid Alabama Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain CDL within 1 year.
• Ability to obtain Apprentice Gas Fitter Certification within 1 year.
• Residence within Pike Road service area.
