Responsibilities
- Learning and assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining gas distribution systems.
- Corrosion control, leak investigations, and meter installations.
- Operating tools and equipment, and assisting crews in construction and maintenance.
- Responding to customer service needs under supervision.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Possession of a valid Alabama Driver’s License.
- Ability to obtain CDL within 1 year.
- Ability to obtain Apprentice Gas Fitter Certification within 1 year.
- Residence within Pike Road service area.
