About the role

Operate equipment for snow removal from roads and parking areas. Early season duties include snowmaking with snow guns, pumps, and snowmobiles, often in adverse weather conditions. Flexible, weather-driven schedules with training in snowmaking and heavy equipment use are provided. Night work leaves daytime free. Work usually available until Easter, depending on weather and resort business levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for snow removal from roads and parking areas.
• Early season duties include snowmaking with snow guns, pumps, and snowmobiles, often in adverse weather conditions.
• Use plow trucks, loaders, and blowers to clear snow, often working at night in storms with poor visibility.
• Flexible, weather-driven schedules with training in snowmaking and heavy equipment use.
• Work usually available until Easter, depending on weather and resort business levels.

Requirements

• Seasonal positions for snowmaking early in the season and snow removal from highways and facilities during winter.
• Use plow trucks, loaders, and blowers to clear snow, often working at night in storms with poor visibility.
• Flexible, weather-driven schedules with training in snowmaking and heavy equipment use.
• Must have a California Commercial Driver's License or be eligible to acquire one with relevant experience.
• Minimum age of 19, with a license for at least three years, and a clean driving record for the past three years.
• No major violations in the last three years.

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $20.70 to $35.58
