About the role

This Support Operator position is utilized as a hiring pool for Manufacturing openings that become available within the facility. The role performs daily tasks and activities that support general Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and systems used to support manufacturing operations such as carton assembly machine, dust collection system, scrap cart, etc.
• Perform simple preventative maintenance activities on equipment as needed (lubrication, cleaning, etc.).
• Regularly replenish departmental supplies to established inventory levels based on usage.
• Assist machine operators in maintaining an orderly work area by staging rolls, removing empty cores, collecting used jaws, etc.
• Perform general housekeeping activities including sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash.
• Follow all safety, quality, plant GMP, and safe food handling rules as a team member.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional related training is preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Demonstrated safety commitment.
• Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
• SAP skills are preferred.
