Position Overview
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate reaction equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to initiate and control chemical reactions.
- Monitor reaction parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to maintain product integrity and consistency.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in chemical processing or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar production environment; experience with reaction equipment and processes is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual.
