As a Mixer Operator, you will define, clarify, and enhance dough-mixing procedures while ensuring compliance with Quality Standards and Rich’s Policies. Your role is critical in delivering high-quality products to customers, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and fostering a healthy employee relationship.
Responsibilities
- Produce wholesome products free from contamination, adhering to Rich’s Quality Standards and Specifications.
- Complete all required production documentation according to Rich’s policies.
- Attend and complete company-sponsored training.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed before and during production.
- Prioritize safety in daily activities and report unsafe conditions or acts to supervision.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in working condition and free of foreign material.
- Procure product specifications and formulas based on the production schedule.
- Request and inspect raw materials to ensure they meet Quality Standards; report deviations to supervision.
- Operate assigned equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete all required quality documentation and ensure product specifications are met; notify supervision of deviations.
- Document any changes or issues during production.
- Communicate with the Die Cut Operator regarding dough performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Escalate unresolved problems to upper management in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Basic computer skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience documenting and measuring results.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to follow procedures consistently.
