Operator, Machine C - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM, or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.
• Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers, and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
• Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
• Check paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies per customer order.
• Use precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions.
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM.

Requirements

• Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply, or divide and may work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.
• Able to follow simple instructions or directions.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing regarding work requirements, work in progress, or work completion.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have two years of experience in a production/shop position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• This position is safety-sensitive; applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
