Operator II – Service Shipping/Receiving

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive all materials using receiving software and approved standard work.
• Lift boxes, sort boxes, and move pallets with a manual pallet jack, including teamwork and team lifts for large or heavy objects.
• Follow prescribed safe work habits to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Package items using approved Hach shipping methods, including proper selection and usage of packing materials, and marking and labeling packages to meet carrier requirements and DOT regulations per pick ticket instructions.
• Perform final inspection of packages for proper labeling, transportation documents, and Bills of Lading.
• Interact with Inventory Clerks to rectify inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months or more of shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience using manual and/or power equipment (e.g., Pallet Jack).
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP Systems (e.g., Oracle, WMS).

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $21.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
