Operator II, Manufacturing - 1st Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated 1st Shift Operator, Manufacturing to join our production team. This role is responsible for running equipment, performing routine quality checks, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect equipment, perform quality checks (visual inspection of parts for defects - fill levels, packaging and others)
• Complete production operations work orders accurately
• Set up and change over equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance, clean equipment and work area while complying with safety and regulatory requirements
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility
• Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous improvement and lean projects
• Comply with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures
• Exercise proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), provide clear documentation and complete appropriate paperwork
• English language fluency required - including ability to speak, read and write without assistance
• Basic computer skills - data entry, log in/out, screen and program navigation
• Possess working mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication and division)
