Operator I, Manufacturing - 1st Shift

Schedule

1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay

$18.50 per hour

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
• Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, or facial hair allowed
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.
• Standing for full shift
• Work with hazardous/toxic materials

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble tubing and connectors for the medical industry
• Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
• Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprints
• Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
• Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
• Perform visual inspection on in-process and finished products; escalate issues to leadership
• Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product
• Participate in Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/or Kaizen events

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• No previous job experience required; experience in a cGMP environment preferred
• Follow all safety protocols
• Drive quality in all activities
• Stand and move about, including reaching, bending, stooping, and grasping
• Use hand tools and equipment, including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
• Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with overtime as needed
• Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene
