Operator II- Granulation

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator II – Granulation position at Piramal Pharma Solutions is part of a global network that provides end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions for the drug industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, disassemble, clean, and reassemble granulation equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness between batches to prevent cross-contamination and adhere to cGMPs.
• Monitor process parameters and perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
• Train on and read SOPs using internal systems.
• Complete documentation and support production metrics.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships within teams.
• Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle equipment and tools.
• Good vision, hearing, and communication abilities required.
• May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must not be allergic to chemicals or bio substances found in production environments.

Shift Details

Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM - Schedule: Monday – Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts)
