Operator II - 12 hours Day shift

Position Summary

An advanced operator capable of working across various work centers and operating equipment. Trains new hires and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new employees and temporary workers on new protocols and procedures.
• Perform duties of Operator positions, including monitoring the molding process, removing molded parts, inspecting parts and packaging, lifting and carrying, packing finished product, verifying line clearances, changing materials, and stocking materials.
• Work collaboratively with the Shift Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Comprehend and adhere to operating policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA).
• Read, understand, and follow specifications, blueprints, instructions, and written procedures.
• Support company safety and quality programs and initiatives.

Job Specification

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or training role in a similar industry.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and current Work Instructions and Product Specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience using tools such as scales, tape guns, hand trucks, digital calipers, digital micrometers, and basic measuring devices.
• Proficient with computers, including SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.

Pay and Benefits

• The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82.
