Position Summary
An advanced operator capable of working in any work center and operating equipment. Train all new hires or contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Train new employees and/or temporary employees, and train existing employees on new protocols and procedures.
- Perform duties of Operator positions, including visually monitoring the molding process, removing molded parts, inspecting parts and packaging, lifting and carrying totes and boxes, packing finished product, verifying line clearances, changing materials, and stocking materials.
- Work in conjunction with Shift Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Read, comprehend, and maintain operating policies and procedures of the Company, as well as comply with FDA, OSHA, and other governmental agency requirements.
- Read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, instructions, and written procedures.
- Support company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or training role in a similar industry/environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and current Work Instructions and Product Specifications.
- Ability to lift bags up to 5 pounds.
- Standing ability for long periods.
- Reading and writing English, comprehension of safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Experience using scale, tape gun, machine, hand truck, digital caliper, digital micrometer, and basic measurement devices.
- Proficiency with computer systems including SAP, and Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Pay and Benefits
- The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 - $30.82.
