Operator, GSOC, Tesla Security Operations Center

The What To Expect Tesla team is seeking a dynamic and agile individual to support the global business through security operations. Reporting to the GSOC Associate Manager, this role combines elements of a security operator, business intelligence analyst, and customer service representative.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate with security teams and partners during emergency and routine events, dispatching external agencies as necessary
• Conduct investigative video reviews and provide reports
• Maintain and monitor all systems used within the operation, triaging and escalating alarms or alerts
• Use open-source and other intelligence tools to identify potential threats to Tesla and its assets
• Author and distribute emergency or business critical advisories/alerts, including risk assessments for travel, geographic markets, and other events
• Support the travel team with safety monitoring, secured transportation, and high-risk travel coordination

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in physical security operations, risk management, loss prevention, emergency preparedness, or law enforcement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
• An independent problem-solving analytical mindset
• Ability to obtain a security license, valid driver's license, travel as required, and work evenings and weekends as needed
• Familiarity with various security systems and technologies, including video management/review systems, electronic access control, emergency notifications, alarms, and standard office software
• Ability to remain calm, multi-task, and handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $25.17 - $46.46 per hour, with additional cash and stock awards and benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
